> Hurricane Simon is approaching Mexico’s Pacific coast, bringing torrential rain and sustained winds of up to 240 kilometres per hour. The US National Hurricane Center expects it to become a major hurricane on Sunday near Mexico’s west-central coast and move very close to shore on Monday.
