WorldAnalysis: Riyadh airport attack was expected as Houthi retaliation

Saudi Arabia’s Civil Aviation Authority says Saturday’s attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh killed 12 people, including four Saudi citizens, and injured 309, some critically. Saudi authorities blamed the Houthis, also known as Ansar Allah, and called it a war crime. The group has not claimed responsibility. Nawaf Obaid, a King’s College London research fellow and security analyst, said the attack was expected as a form of Houthi retaliation.
