PoliticsThousands rally against Germany’s support for Israel

Thousands demonstrated in Berlin, calling for Germany to change its approach to the Israel-Gaza war. The protest reflects mounting pressure on Chancellor Friedrich Merz to balance Germany’s historic responsibility toward Israel with criticism of the humanitarian situation in Gaza and the West Bank. Protesters also called for a Palestinian state and an end to arms exports.
