> Israeli settlers attacked Palestinians picking olives in Birzeit, West Bank, and residents said tear gas was used. The incident comes amid increased settler violence during the annual harvest, as farmers struggle to reach and work their land. The U.N. recorded more than 1,600 settler attacks causing casualties or property damage from January through August 2026.
