> US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth says the public will be able to watch Nidal Hasan be executed by firing squad in Texas in December. Hasan, a former army psychiatrist, killed 13 unarmed soldiers at Fort Hood in 2009. The UN human rights office said a livestream would amount to a public execution and breach the absolute ban on torture. The podcast also reports protests in New York after ICE agents shot a man in a car with his young child.
