SportsAFCON title verdict for Senegal and Morocco expected within days

The Court of Arbitration for Sport began hearing Senegal’s appeal on Thursday after the Confederation of African Football overturned Senegal’s AFCON win and awarded Morocco a 3-0 victory and the title. Senegal had beaten the tournament hosts with Pape Gueye’s extra-time goal after a chaotic end to regulation time.
