> South African-born jurist and former UN human rights chief Navi Pillay, now an ad hoc judge at the International Court of Justice, won the Nobel Peace Prize on Friday for promoting peace and international law. Her award is likely to be seen as a high-profile rebuke to Trump and Netanyahu, who rejected a UN commission she led that found Israel committed genocide in Gaza.
