> Labour won the Holborn and St Pancras by-election, with Camden Council leader Sagal Abdi-Wali taking 12,292 votes. Green leader Zack Polanski finished second, and his party conceded shortly before the result was announced. The north London seat fell vacant after former Prime Minister Keir Starmer said last month he would leave the House of Commons.
