SocietyAdventurer Karl Bushby arrives home in UK after 28-year walk

Karl Bushby began a 50,000-kilometre walk around the world from Chile in 1998, vowing not to use transport to advance or return home until he had walked there. He became the first known person in modern history to walk across the Bering Strait sea ice and the first to swim the Caspian Sea. He spoke with Global before returning to Hull, East Yorkshire.
