Gillio Lopes, a defendant in the Cornell rape case who denies sexually assaulting the woman, is seeking to have New York Attorney General Letitia James removed as special prosecutor. His lawyer petitioned Albany County Supreme Court, alleging James had shown bias and presumed the defendants in a civil case were guilty.
