EconomyOne woman’s debt spiral points to trouble for Thailand’s growth hopes

Thai business owner Kavita Wongyakasem fears she could die before clearing her debts. She owes 10 million baht to seven financial institutions and another 2.1 million baht to informal lenders, compared with total debt of 8 million baht three years ago.
