PoliticsHolborn and St Pancras by-election tests Burnham as Labour and Greens compete

Voters in London’s Holborn and St Pancras will vote on Thursday in a by-election prompted by former Prime Minister Keir Starmer giving up his seat. It is Andy Burnham’s first electoral test nearly three months into his premiership, with Labour and the Green Party locked in a close two-party contest. The densely populated constituency has about 112,000 residents in 10.5 square kilometres and a median age of 32.
