Christa Pike’s attorneys said Wednesday that she is “angry and confused” after the failed execution. A Nashville judge said Tennessee officials would be ordered to preserve all evidence from last week’s two botched lethal injections, including syringes and other tools. Lawyer Randy Spivey said Pike has a blood clot in one arm and pneumonia.
