PoliticsFrance suspends stun grenade use at student protests

France has suspended police use of stun grenades at student-led demonstrations, the interior minister said Wednesday, as allegations of police brutality grew after several days of sometimes violent protests. Tens of thousands rallied nationwide Tuesday for better high-school conditions. President Emmanuel Macron held an emergency meeting that evening with Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu and other senior ministers.
