> Nationwide student protests over under-resourced schools are growing in France. Police used tear gas and a water cannon in Paris, while riot officers charged young demonstrators at the end of a march and arrested several people as they cleared a square. Many protesters were teenagers holding signs criticising President Emmanuel Macron and his government.
