> Donald Trump suggested at a Nebraska campaign rally that Iran could “take out” Los Angeles and San Diego, while calling war-related price increases “a small price to pay” and promising the conflict would end “very soon”. California leaders denounced the remarks as reckless and deranged; Governor Gavin Newsom said the president was advocating an attack affecting more than 10 million people.
