HealthResearchers test experimental Ebola drug in DR Congo’s Ituri province

Researchers from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and abroad are testing an experimental pill in Ituri province to help contain an Ebola outbreak. More than 4,000 people have died and over 8,000 have been infected. With no approved vaccine for the Bundibugyo strain, the team hopes the drug can protect exposed people before they become ill.
