WorldUS withdraws all bombers from UK’s Fairford base amid security concerns

The United States has removed all bombers from RAF Fairford after several men were arrested near the UK base on suspicion of planning “terrorist acts”. They were later released on bail. The base hosted B-52 and B-1 aircraft used by the US to strike Iran during the war; the planes have now been moved back to the US.
