> The Tigray People's Liberation Front says it has withdrawn from Mekelle, the capital of northern Ethiopia's Tigray region. Government forces took control after capturing the city's main airport late Saturday and have been seen patrolling the streets. The loss is a major setback for Tigrayan forces in their stronghold, after they seized one of three regional airfields in late September.
