US farmers say they are running out of patience with President Donald Trump’s trade war with China. Higher diesel and fertiliser costs are cutting into margins, while weaker exports are pushing more farms into bankruptcy. Nearly 70 percent of rural Americans voted for Trump, but his approval is now negative in nine of the country’s ten largest farm states, including Minnesota.
