Doug Rediker of International Capital Strategies says former Fed Chair Jerome Powell’s continued presence on the Board of Governors acts as a “tempering influence” on current Chair Kevin Warsh. Rediker says he has been reluctant to expect a rate hike with the midterm elections approaching, though he is not highly confident in that view.
