> Student protesters and French police continued clashing in Paris on Friday as demonstrators called for better learning conditions and more school funding. About 400 schools have closed amid the unrest, which has spread nationwide and grown more violent, leaving dozens injured and prompting hundreds of arrests. Protesters say teacher shortages have overcrowded classrooms, with some holding up to 36 students.
