> Protesters gather in Barcelona after Spain’s parliament rejected a package of government housing and social measures aimed at addressing the worsening housing crisis. The bills included a ban on evicting vulnerable tenants until 2030. Demonstrators said they would keep protesting across Spain and continue their camp in central Madrid over the eviction of 87-year-old Maricarmen Abascal.
