EconomyFrance to Set Out Plan to Narrow Budget Deficit

France’s government is preparing to unveil a €54 billion spending-cutting package aimed at sharply reducing the budget deficit. The plan seeks to lower the shortfall from 5.4% of economic output this year to 5% in 2027.
