> Thousands of protesters camped in Madrid’s main square and other Spanish cities, urging parliament to quickly approve measures to protect tenants and curb the country’s acute housing crisis. The demonstrations were sparked by the eviction last week of an 87-year-old woman from her Madrid home, where she had lived for more than seven decades.
