WorldPassenger recalls putting pilot in ‘chokehold’ after stabbing on Israel-bound flight

Passenger Yaniv Hayoun told Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu that he and another passenger forced their way into the cockpit of a flight from the United Arab Emirates to Israel and found a pilot slumped over the controls. Hayoun said he grabbed the threat and dragged him out in what was essentially a chokehold. Netanyahu said the pilot had stabbed his co-pilot and appeared to try to crash the aircraft.
