> Former television news anchor Edward Rukidi Kijanangoma was crowned king of Uganda’s Tooro Kingdom on Tuesday, becoming the 13th monarch of the Batooro people. The ritual-filled coronation ended a succession feud triggered by the death of King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, aged 34, with his mother claiming a previously undisclosed son was entitled to the throne.
