Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps says it is discussing a letter addressed to the American people. Spokesperson Hossein Mohebbi said Tehran is ready to speak directly with people in the United States, questioned the need for what he described as 800 US military bases worldwide, and said many Americans may not know about crimes committed by the US military.
