WorldUS official says ‘constructive’ Iran talks continue but nuclear issues delay deal

A US official told Al Jazeera that mediated talks with Iran remain “positive and constructive”, but no agreement will be reached unless nuclear issues are addressed. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has been meeting mediators in New York and said Iran proposed reopening the Strait of Hormuz through Qatari mediators.
