EconomyUS and China extend trade truce to Jan 10, agree to cut tariffs on US$30 billion each

The United States and China will extend their trade truce until Jan 10 and cut tariffs on US$60 billion worth of goods. Each side recommended US$30 billion in non-sensitive imports for preferential treatment. Beijing will reduce tariffs on selected US goods, while Washington will lower duties on Chinese consumer products.
