> Tensions are rising in Northern Ireland after Belfast’s High Court approved a controversial parade. About 2,000 protesters have blocked the route into a Catholic area, where the Orange Order is due to march for the first time in nearly 30 years. The route was a notorious flashpoint before the 1998 Good Friday Agreement largely ended the Troubles’ bloodshed.
