> Thousands of Bangkok residents were staying in shelters on Sunday after days of heavy rain severely flooded homes and roads. Residents used boats to move through inundated streets after the governor declared the capital a disaster-affected zone. More than 330mm of rain fell in some areas over four days, according to the national weather agency.
