SocietyCollege Student Strangled Near Apartment | 20/20: ‘The Salem Strangler,’ Part 1

The season premiere of 20/20 examines the murder of college student Claire Gravel, who was found strangled beside a road six miles from her Salem, Massachusetts, apartment. The case went years without an arrest and eventually grew cold, until a similar attack on a mother in 2007 led detectives toward a suspect.
