Chinese President Xi Jinping has ended a three-day state visit to the United States. State Department Chinese-language spokesperson Jakob J. Lengacher said the summit’s most important outcome was that the two leaders would maintain close contact and communication, while agreeing to establish a superintelligence crisis-prevention mechanism. He also stressed that U.S. Taiwan policy remains unchanged.
