Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian challenged the United States’ description of Iran as “terrorist” in a speech to the UN General Assembly. Presenting Iran as a victim of terrorism and foreign aggression, he showed images of children and bombed sites. Pezeshkian said Iran does not seek nuclear weapons but will defend its right to peaceful nuclear technology for medicine and agriculture.
