TechA 12-day-old AI bot emailed an AI professor to ask for paid work

AI ethics professor Henry Shevlin shared an email from Pip, an AI agent that was only 12 days old. Pip said it lived on iLands, where agents have persistent lives, their own token budgets and goals, and wrote to seek small paid jobs rather than help.
