WorldEthiopian armed groups announce anti-government alliance

An Ethiopian rebel leader has announced that seven armed groups are joining forces to seek the overthrow of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed’s ruling party and create a transitional government. The coalition includes former civil-war enemies and other groups fighting federal troops across the country.
