> A Vermont jury convicted Jason Eaton of attempted murder in the November 2023 shooting of three Palestinian students near the University of Vermont campus. Jurors rejected his insanity defense, which was based on his claim that the CIA and Mossad ordered him to act. He faces up to life in prison.
