TechSouth Korea’s AI boom drives demand for semiconductor trade schools

Surging global demand for artificial intelligence is boosting South Korea’s semiconductor exports, with Samsung and SK Hynix accounting for about half of the country’s benchmark stock index. Specialised trade schools, including Meister schools, are training students for chip-factory jobs, and graduate employment rates have reached 96 percent as enquiries rise.
