TechUS, China discuss AI dialogue mechanism and trade ahead of Trump-Xi summit

US and Chinese delegations held what they called successful and constructive talks in New York on artificial intelligence and trade. They discussed creating an AI dialogue mechanism and preparing to ease trade tensions before a truce expires in November, ahead of Xi Jinping’s visit to Washington. France and Canada are also seeking closer ties on critical minerals and energy.
