Prime Minister Mark Carney announced at the Canada Investment Summit in Toronto that Ottawa will seek private investment to operate Canada’s four largest airports: Toronto Pearson, Vancouver, Montreal-Trudeau and Calgary International. The federal government says it would retain ownership of the land and assets while handing day-to-day operations to private investors through long-term concessions.
