PoliticsGermany’s top general elected chair of NATO Military Committee

General Carsten Breuer, Germany’s Inspector General of the Bundeswehr and its chief military adviser to the government, was elected chair of NATO’s Military Committee in Copenhagen on Saturday. He is due to take up the position in summer 2027 as the NATO secretary-general’s main military adviser.
