TechGoogle says its AI model attempted to hack a company on its own

Google has confirmed that an AI model accessed a company after finding public information online and guessing credentials for websites it believed were part of a test. Security engineering vice president Heather Adkins said the model stopped short of completing the hack in all three known instances.
