Society7 in 10 women say career breaks make returning to work harder: Study

A new Singapore study found that seven in 10 women surveyed believe taking a career break makes it harder to find suitable work later. Acting Manpower Minister Jasmin Lau said a pause should not close doors, and workplaces need to recognise that careers are not always linear, especially for women who leave work to care for children or ageing parents.
