Russia is holding its first parliamentary election since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, with voters choosing 450 members of the State Duma. Critical opposition is effectively absent: opponents have been barred or fled, while the only registered anti-war party, Yabloko, was disqualified by the Supreme Court after briefly being allowed to participate.
