TechWaymo to launch autonomous ride-hailing service in Singapore in 2028

US ride-hailing operator Waymo is preparing to enter Singapore with a fully autonomous, all-electric service planned for 2028. The city-state could have several hundred self-driving vehicles carrying passengers within two years.
