Greece’s parliament has lifted former EU Commissioner Dimitris Avramopoulos’s immunity in connection with a corruption investigation in Brussels. Avramopoulos had urged legal proceedings to proceed, denied wrongdoing and said he wanted to cooperate fully with authorities.
