President Donald Trump was pictured looking over a poster that appears to say “Kennedy Center DEMOLISHED.” Hours later, his administration told a judge the arts institution needed to close because of “structural deterioration” posing “untenable risks” to safety. Trump had earlier warned it could ultimately be torn down without his support.
