SocietyBogota’s ‘Care Blocks’ offer free support to unpaid caregivers

Bogota’s Care Blocks initiative provides unpaid caregivers—most of them women—with free exercise, education and laundry services. The programme, launched under former mayor Claudia Lopez, has grown to 27 centres and is being used as a model for similar efforts elsewhere in Latin America and the United States.
