SocietyCNA Investigates: CASE sees rise in complaints relating to pre-owned cars

Singapore’s consumer watchdog CASE says complaints about pre-owned cars are increasing. It received 242 complaints in 2025 and 163 in the first eight months of this year, 116 more than during the same period last year. Buyers reported repeated breakdowns, dealers failing to honour warranties and misleading claims about vehicle condition.
